Advantages of Flamma system

  • High level of automation and advanced methods for improving the combustion process on low-power plants, already from 500kW (movable water-cooled grid, combined secondary air, flue gas recovery, advanced PLC program).

  • The plants are designed and built for heavy-duty exploitation. All parts exposed to the mechanical force are made of HARDOX steel.
  • Dosing worm conveyorsmade of HARDOX steel. Dimensioned for continuous operation in very severe conditions, for drive reducers with 4 kW of power and 1800 Nm of torque. The bearing and suspension system facilitates quick and easy replacement of conveyors for service.
  • Automatic conveyor unblocking 

Firebox

  • Fire-resistant brick coated firebox-allows for the use of biomass with a high percentage of moisture (55%). Fire-resistant bricks also contribute to maintaining an optimum temperature of 950 C for biomass combustion.
  • Water-cooled firebox– Increased security during exploitation. Betterdegree of utilization.
  • Firebox and double vault geometryguarantee long-lasting retention of fire and flue gases in the firebox zone with high temperatures and high secondary air turbulence. This contributes to the complete combustion of fuels and the reduction of fine dust in exhaust gases.

Combustion grill

  • Movable combustion grillis manufactured by renowned Swedish manufacturer “BRUZAHOLMS” and is made of a special alloy that guarantees long service life and optimal combustion. Hydraulic aggregates move the grills that are divided into several individual zones. Continuous forward-backward movement of the grills keeps the biomass “on the move”, which accelerates more balanced mixing of primary air, more complete combustion of fuel and prevents gravel formation in the ash.
  • The fixed part of the grillis water-cooled. The relatively low grill temperature (90 ° C) prevents ash melting and ash deposition formation. This is of particular importance in the combustion of very dry fuels.
  • Primary air– Dosing in multiple individual zones, with each zone receiving customized air quantity and pressure. Possible mixing of flue gases with primary air for the purpose of drying biomass or putting out/reducing fire in individual fuel zones.
  • Secondary air– Two basic conditions are set for secondary air dosing: sufficient air speed to guarantee turbulence in the firebox, and the amount of O2 in flue gases. Flamma Systems has developed its own unique solution that meets both of these apparently contradictory conditions. As a result, we have got a firebox that works in a wide range of effects. (20% to 110%)
  • Recirculation of flue gases into the fireboxto regulate the temperature within the firebox. In this way, we extend the firebox service life (fire-resistant bricks). We reduce the concentration of NOx in flue gases

Control system

  • PLCs in conjunction with frequency regulators and fast EtherCAT intercommunication enable rapid detection of potential issues during plant exploitation (conveyor blocking, temperature oscillation in the firebox, changes in flue gas composition) and rapid correction of work defects.
  • Fire protection systems. Special attention is paid to the fire protection systems in the boiler room and parts of the plant. Several separate overlapping systems operating completely independently of the electricity and water supply network.

In addition to complete turnkey plants, Flamma Systems may offer individual boilers in two variants with horizontal and vertical tubes. In addition to the standard boiler dimensions, we can design and build boilers according to investors’ requirements.

Flue gases flow through the boiler through two drafts so that by measuring the flue gas temperature at the boiler outlet, we achieve a high degree of utilization.

Cleaning of pipes is done by compressed air shot at certain intervals.

Boilers with horizontal tubes are less sensitive to dirty water than boilers with vertical tubes.

Horizontal tube plants can be offered in the range of power from 500 KW to 4000 KW.

Boilers with vertical tubes are made with the power range from 250 KW to 2000 KW.

Boilers are primarily intended for fossil fuels: wood, pellet, chips, straw, husks and pits of agricultural products.

FXH type boilers

are hot-water boilers consisting of a purpose-designed burner for wood chips and an integrated boiler with horizontal boiler tubes.

The thermal capacity of the plant at a temperature of 210C is 1MW to 6MW. Quality combustion and low flue gas temperature allow for a high degree of utilization.

FLM-3500 Plant

is a hot-water plant consisting of the lower part of the firebox (base), the upper part of the firebox and the exchanging part with horizontal tubes, all located within a panel-coated hall based on turnkey principle.

Besides dimensional characteristics, another great advantage of our plant is the possibility of using pellet and recycled wood of undefined quality

Conveyors are accordingly designed for severe working conditions.

Thanks to immovable water-cooled stainless steel plates, the plant can burn low-moisture wood chips (up to 15%), while the fireproof wall allows combustion of chips of up to 50% of moisture.

Quality combustion and low flue gas temperature allow for a high degree of utilization.

The ash removal system is completely automated. The ash is extracted from the firebox by the worm conveyors into one collecting conveyor which further transports the ash to a 2m3 capacity hopper.

At the request of the customer, it is possible to build a variant without such a system, but with ash bins to which ash is directly transported by worm conveyors.

Flamma CL 500 kW container plant

Includes a boiler with an integrated heat exchanger with vertical fire tubes, biomass storage, as well as all the necessary installations. Such a concept enables easy transfer and reinstallation to the desired location. Depending on the model, the container plant can be made with separate biomass storage. All parts are made of quality materials that provide better quality and longer service life. The Flamma CL 500 combustion technology ensures high energy production and low emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere.

The Flamma CL 500 burners are able to burn a wide range of solid fuels with up to 50% of moisture, for example, pellet, wood, peat, agricultural residues. The plant is conceived to meet the highest standards of every country. The container is covered with fire-resistant sandwich panels exclusively of the first class according to EN45014 standard. Plant automation is flexible and tailored to the needs of users. Flamma KAMINI Voda 10.5kW

Flamma fireplace-water 10.5Kw with a water exchanger for connection to the central heating installation. Most of the energy (75%) is transferred to the radiator heating water and the rest (25%) to heating of the room in which it is located. The boiler contains all elements of central heating (circulation pump, expansion bottle, valves, vents, safety valves) so that the fireplace is only required to be connected to the central heating pipe distribution. The fireplace heats up a space of about 100m2.
